Who can get a free NHS flu vaccination?
Free NHS flu vaccinations are available for eligible groups, including:

From 1 September 2026

Pregnant women
Eligible children (where this service is available)

From 1 October 2026

Adults aged 65 and over
Adults aged 18–64 in clinical risk groups
Carers
People living in long-stay residential care
Eligible frontline health and social care workers

Can I have my flu and COVID-19 vaccinations together? In many cases, yes. Our team will confirm what's suitable for you.

Are there side effects? Like all vaccines, flu and COVID-19 vaccines can cause side effects. These are usually mild and short-lived.

What if I have allergies? If you have questions about allergies or whether vaccination is suitable for you, please speak to our pharmacy team before booking.

Private flu vaccination is available for those who are not eligible for an NHS vaccination, or who prefer a private service.

During the 2026/27 season, this pharmacy may provide NHS flu vaccinations for eligible children.

Children aged 2 and 3 — from 1 October 2026
Children aged 2 to under 18 in an eligible clinical risk group — from 1 October 2026
School-aged children who missed their school vaccination — from 1 December 2026

Blood Pressure

High blood pressure (BP) is linked to strokes and heart attacks. We'll measure your blood pressure and explain your results.

We can provide the NHS's new ambulatory service; which measures your blood pressure over a 24-hour period to get a more detailed picture of your blood pressure status.

The BP service is free (NHS funded) for those aged 40 and above without a previous diagnosis of high blood pressure (hypertension) or at a request of a GP.

Chlamydia | STI's Service

We supply antibiotic treatments for Chlamydia for anyone tested and comes in with a positive code.

We are able to make referrals to services within the NHS for other sexually transmitted infections (STI) so you'll never have to go without medical care.

We offer free emergency contraception at the pharmacy following a confidential consultation with the pharmacist.

This service is available for women of childbearing age, subject to a clinical assessment.

Emergency contraception is most effective when taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex, but treatment may still be suitable for up to 5 days depending on the type supplied and your individual circumstances.

We dispense NHS, Private and Electronic prescriptions from any doctor registered in the UK and some European countries.

It's not always easy to order and collect your prescriptions/medicines. We can deliver for a nominal fee:
- We charge £5 for a one-off delivery of prescriptions. Save by paying annually - £60 for all your prescription deliveries. It's only £90 for 2 individuals at the same address.
- We can deliver over-the-counter medicines and other products at the same time as your prescription for free!
- Click-and-collect or we'll deliver over the counter medicines and other items for £5 when these are ordered using our app.
- Download our ordering app for repeat prescription, over-the-counter-medicines and other products sold in our pharmacy here.
- Dossett Box Service (blister-packed medicines) Fees are as follows: £5 per weekly tray (£20/m). If you require us to deliver the dossett box, then the delivery fees outlined above, will apply.

Stop-Smoking Service.

We do not offer a free NHS stop smoking service. However, nicotine replacement therapy products are available to purchase, and our team can provide advice and support in choosing the most suitable option.
Travel health clinic

For vaccinations, malaria prevention and a FREE travel health consultation, speak to our Pharmacist or visit the in-pharmacy Travel Clinic - no appointment is necessary. We are a government-designated YELLOW FEVER CENTRE

How the service works:

1) Pop in for a FREE travel health consultation with our Travel Health Pharmacist, who can make appropriate recommendations.
2) Have treatment on the same day or at a time to suit you.
3) Attend treatment and pay only for any treatment you receive. We observe a fair pricing policy.
